The first round of the WSK Euro Series at Franciacorta was a confidence boost for Remigiusz Samczyk, in the final of the OK Junior.
The Polish driver’s growth process is continuing race after race, session after session. After his commitment in the European Championship in Slovakia, Remigiusz was back on track at the weekend just ended for the first round of the WSK Euro Series at Franciacorta.
After the usual great work in free practice together with the staff of the AKM Motorsport team, in qualifying Remek did his best to get a good placing by finishing P11 in his session and P22 out of 66 in the general classification.
Three heats in the OK Junior programme, as always hard-fought where Remek, after an unfortunate crash at the start, completed with a P10 and a P14. An excellent pre-final closed in P15 with four positions recovered then allowed the Polish driver to qualify for the category final at the Franciacorta track.
In the final, Samczyk demonstrated all his growth in recent months, on the very circuit where it all began. Excellent approach to the race, with no mistakes and no risks despite starting from the bottom. Thirteen positions recovered and a P23 final that counts as a new step in his journey with the team.
Remigiusz would like to thank the whole team, IAME, Kart Republic, his mechanic, his family, the sponsors and especially Natalia Kowalska for their great work together!
