A top ten touched and many positions recovered for Alex Legenkyi in the WSK Final Cup at Franciacorta.

The new WSK competition was as usual of great level in the Mini Gr.3 category where, as usual, Alex Legenkyi showed the great maturity he has been improving since the beginning of the year race after race.

He qualified at a good level once again thanks to the fourth fastest time in his own qualifying session and eighth overall.

It is never easy to overtake at Franciacorta and often the heats become very demanding. In the first heat a P13 had certainly not satisfied the Team Driver colour holder who then returned to his own standards by scoring a P5 (then P8 due to a penalty) and a P3 to round off the program. An unusual program that saw the drivers tackle the Pre-final straight away. Once again, the Ukrainian driver’s pace was excellent, and he was able to retain his eighth starting position.

In the Mini Gr.3 final, the P16 start did not make Alex’s task entirely easy. However, with good experience, he managed to stay out of trouble in the early laps and recover positions. As many as five positions recovered with P11 overall under the chequered flag a step away from the Top Ten in his category.
A good race that anticipates what will be the next commitment, namely the conclusion of the Italian ACI Karting Championship at Lonato on the weekend of 20 September.

Oleksandr thanks all his team, his mechanic, KR and IAME, his family and of course all the sponsors for their support.
