At the weekend just gone, Oleksandr Legenkyi completed his first race in the OKN-J category. A good progression with excellent results.

Lonato represented the start of a new chapter for the Ukrainian driver in view of 2025. The new category put Alex to the test and, thanks to great work together with the team, he managed to adapt almost immediately.

Qualifying was particularly hard-fought with Alex in P14 of his session. A position that in any case allowed him to fight and put into practice what he learned in 60 Mini in terms of close battles to recover positions. Three heats all ended positively with a P10 (four positions recovered), P13 (one position recovered) and then P8 (six positions recovered).

On Sunday another quality leap by Alex, P9 in his pre-final and qualification for his first final in OKN-J. Starting from P18, Legenkyi was able to impose his own pace, improving his position to close with an excellent P10 and his first top ten in this category. Unfortunately, a penalty (bumper) at the end of the race then put Alex in P14. In any case, the first weekend in the new category was more than positive with lots of good ideas for further improvement.

The WSK Final Cup will return to Cremona next week for the last round.
