The Ukrainian driver of Team Driver concluded his WSK Super Master Series with the Sarno race in full swing.
The first step of the new season was filed with four races between Lonato, Cremona, Franciacorta and precisely Sarno, where Oleksandr showed his great performance growth.
Qualifying was complicated by a fast lap ruined by traffic. The start from the back of the group, in any case, did not stop the Ukrainian driver who from then on had only the idea of recovering as many positions as possible.
In the first heat Legenkyi was able to make up as many as 21 positions by finishing P8. An outstanding performance. The second and third heats were also similar with 17 positions recovered in heat 2 finished in P12, fourteen positions recovered in the third heat finished in P15. A great recovery that was even more confirmed by the Pre-final ended in fourth place with eight positions recovered and the qualification for the Mini-Gr.3 final obtained in tenth position.
In the final, the Ukrainian driver, could have progressed further but the tussle on the track kept him busy to finish with a P13. Many positive numbers that in any case left Oleksandr satisfied, especially in view of the next seasonal appointments. Legenkyi finished tenth in the overall classification of the WSK Super Master Series Mini Gr.3 2024.
