Cristian Bertuca is on the podium again in the second round of the WSK Super Master Series at Franciacorta.
The Birel Art driver achieved his third podium out of four races of the season, his third in a row in WSK competitions. Good result which once again rewards the great start of the season of the “Cannibal”, more and more the leader of the KZ2 general classification in the WSK Super Master Series.
Filed the commitments of Lonato, it was the brand new Franciacorta to host the stage in the WSK calendar. A technical and fast circuit, as said on the eve, tackled in the best possible way by Cristian and his first time in KZ2. The driver’s great spirit of adaptation led him to express himself at his best right from the start, dictating the pace after the first free practice and securing the fifth best time in qualifying, second for group A.
An important objective to be achieved immediately and then concentrate on the three available heats, concluded by Cristian with a victory on Friday, a second and a fifth place due to a penalty at the end of the race but completely harmless for the pole position in Prefinal B, obtained and preserved on Sunday morning by winning with more than a second on the first pursuer.
In the last act of Sunday at Franciacorta, the KZ2 Final, another good start for Bertuca, who was then able to battle for victory from start to finish, showing pace and experience at the top of the grid. Second place at the end of the race and a consolidated lead in the standings with another ninety points conquered. In a fortnight time, the third and penultimate round of the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno.
