The Roman driver starts his career in single seater in Dubai racing the F.4 UAE with Xcel Motorsport.
The 2020 season starts pretty soon for the 15-year old Francesco Pizzi, but, differently from the previous seasons, this one starts with warm temperatures and amazing venues. His debut in single seater is set for January 8th at Dubai Autodrome, taking part to the F.4 UAE.
Francesco will move his first steps into car racing with the reigning F.4 UAE champion team: Xcel Motorsport. The Dubai-based racing crew, won the 2019 driver and team campionships with another Italian driver, Matteo Nannini. After a lot of training with the Abarth-powered Tatuus Formula 4 car, Francesco is finally ready to play with bigger toys.
“When I started racing in karting I was simply dreaming my debut with real race cars and finally that time has come. The decision to start with the F.4 UAE is clear: I’ll make the most of all the track time we’ll have with good weather and on awesome racing tracks. The format is great and a lot of my colleagues who were winning in this series now have a good career in motorsport. I hope to follow their footsteps. I simply can’t wait to start this new adventure!”
