The Swiss girl from the Drivex team faced her third weekend in the Spanish F4. Not an easy weekend in Jerez but useful to collect data.

The Jerez track, historically important to the entire Spanish motorsport scene, hosted the third round of the series. For Léna Bühler the weekend just passed was not easy to read, but the Drivex team’s girl tried to make the most of the weekend, which alternated between a very wet track and a wet track.

During free practice, very difficult conditions for all the drivers due to the heavy downpour that hit Jerez. A double P17 for Léna in slight difficulty with the balance of her car. During Q1, the girl tried to improve her performance by placing in P15 (1.54.485) but was then forced to retire in Race 1.

On Sunday, Léna managed to redeem Saturday’s performance by closing Q2 in top ten with a good P12, then improved even more from P8 in Race 2 (best lap 1.44.697). A top ten that suggests the good competitiveness and the good feeling acquired by Switzerland with the category. Léna Bühler then managed to finish the third and final race in P14.

Léna: “It was a weekend difficult weekend. I still learned a lot with some mistakes and that’s what keeps us going. It was a new experience for me. A totally different drive than in the dry. But I got better lap after lap. I’m glad why go back driving in the rain to gain experience. I’m convinced that in Valencia it will be better. I enjoy this circuit. I’m already looking forward to Friday”.

Despite the difficult and unsatisfactory weekend for the Drivex driver, the experience gained will help Léna to improve even more in view of the next races starting from this week’s Valencia GP.
