In a completely new dimension, Natalia Balbo will take part in the 500km Nocturnes on the Rhine Ring (France) this weekend.
A different adventure, outside the karting dimension, awaits the Italian driver this coming weekend. Natalia will in fact be on board of the Peugeot 208 Cup of the RSR team on the demanding French circuit called Anneau Du Rhin.
An endurance race weekend on a track four kilometres long and inspired by Paul Ricard in its layout. The “500 Nocturnes”, now in its fifth edition, will come to life on Saturday 11 September in front of guests, automobile clubs and entrepreneurs from the sector present representing the most important brands in motorsport. Four hours of racing for a total of 138 laps that Natalia Balbo will share with another driver from Vicenza, Alberto Piccolo, in the GT Cup category.
First real transition from karting to cars where, of course, will be valuable background “karting”, especially in the vision of the race, the duration and especially in the adaptation to the new 208 Cup to learn and know from the beginning, taking advantage of free practice before diving into the attack on time.
As per the official programme, Natalia will be on track in the free practice sessions on Friday 10 September with five rounds available from 05.10pm to 09.10pm.
On Saturday the 500km race will get underway with the fifty-minute official qualifying session from 12.00 to 12.50. At 08.15pm the race will start for a duration of four hours.
Natalia: “I can’t wait to get started and try out this new experience in the world of GT racing. Together with my partner and the team we will try to do our best to be competitive right from the start and have fun. Special thanks to Invictus Corse and Automobiles Gelain for making this 500km possible!”
