A new weekend on the track for Nikita Ljubimov, who was involved in the Estonian Karting Championship round that ended with a victory.

In the round at Aravete (Estonia), the Talvar Racing driver did his best to compete as usual on these occasions in the dual Rotax MiniMax and Mini60 categories. No small task which the Estonian driver completed between Friday and Saturday.

In the Rotax MiniMax category, Nikita was perfect from the start, taking pole position in 46.818 and going on to win the two heats in the programme. Two wins out of two allowed Ljubimov to start on pole position also for the Superfinal, which is important for the classification. Absolute domination completed by victory also in the final race with over 7 seconds of advantage over the first rival.

In Mini60 the weekend was a little more complicated than expected. Third time in qualifying followed however by an excellent first heat finished in second position despite an exhaust damage due to contact caused by an opponent. In the second heat unfortunately a contact put him out of the race and forced him to start from P7. In the Final, Nikita’s excellent start ready to recover and then forced to retire due to an engine failure after three laps.

A bittersweet but positive weekend for Nikita, who is ready to return to the track over the weekend of 26-27 July for the Rotax Nordic Challenge Estonia.

Nikita thanks the whole team, his mechanic, Rotax, all supporters and his family for the support.
