The Cremona weekend was the first in wet conditions in the OKJ category for Remigiusz Samczyk, who showed great growth.
The Polish driver of the AKM Motorsport team also completed the second round of the WSK Super Master Series on the Cremona circuit. A weekend that put Remigiusz to the test because of the completely wet track conditions he had never faced in the OK Junior category. It was not an easy start, but as the sessions went by, the driver gained experience.
If qualifying was not easy, it was during the heats that Remigiusz showed he could improve quickly, managing to make progress in all the direct discounts by recovering positions. Despite two forced retirements, always when he was in a fight, in the last three heats he managed to recover more than twenty positions in total, completing the heats with a P20, P17 and finally P12 with a good twelve overtakes.
An exponential growth also in the pre-final which, unfortunately, did not allow the Polish driver to qualify for the final but which in any case led him to be better in these conditions than at the start of the weekend, a fact which is certainly fundamental and important for the rest of the season!
Remigiusz Samczyk will be back on track in a few days at Franciacorta for the third round of the WSK Super Master Series 2024.
