The return to the track for the Italian ACI Karting Championship at Val Vibrata saw Oleksandr Legenkyi as the protagonist of his category.

A good weekend for Alex on the kart track of Val Vibrata, which is never easy to interpret especially in the always fierce Mini Gr.3 category.
At the end of the weekend, Legenkyi proved himself to be the protagonist and ready for an even more competitive second part of the season.

After free practice on Thursday and Friday, official qualifying saw Alex place seventh in his timed session and thirteenth overall. There were only two heats in Group A that the Team Driver had to maximise in view of Sunday.
Eighth place in the first heat in recovery and fourth in the last heat with another five positions recovered.

These results were useful to obtain seventh place on the starting grid for Race 1. Alex did his best to fight in a hard-fought race in true Mini Gr.3 style with many twists and turns and perfectly managed track battles. Fifth place under the chequered flag.
In Race 2, the same approach as Legenkyi despite the inverted grid and the same competitiveness that had led him to recover again towards the top five. Unfortunately, a penalty at the end of the race forced him down to P12, however, ending a very positive weekend.

Alex will be on track in a few days for the first round of the WSK Euro Series at Franciacorta.
