With the fourth and final round, Remigiusz Samczyk concluded the WSK Super Master Series 2024.
The first season in OK Junior is going well for the Polish driver of the AKM Motorsport team. The WSK Super Master Series was the first step and the first real international race series (albeit all in Italy) of the 2024 season.
In the rounds at Lonato, Cremona and Franciacorta, Remek has always demonstrated his aptitude for improvement and ability to adapt to situations. He demonstrated this again at Sarno this weekend, completing a weekend that was sure to prove useful.
Samczyk was able to cope with constantly changing conditions at the Circuito Internazionale Napoli, starting with a good top ten qualifying with the tenth fastest lap time overall. The three heats then saw Remigiusz having to fight hard, finishing with two P14s and a P15.
The pre-final then confirmed the excellent work done by Remek and the team who, with the right choice and a change of set-up, completely turned the tide. The pre-final was excellently managed by the Polish driver who was able to recover a good eleven positions and finish in P4 overall! A truly satisfying result that could also have been confirmed in the final when, unfortunately, an opponent caused a race contact that forced Remigiusz to retire after a few laps.
The good progress, however, gives Remek hope for his future starting with the next races and the goal of the FIA European Karting Championship. Remek thanks his team for their great work, his mechanic, Natalia and all his sponsors and family.
