Remek Samczyk was among the absolute protagonists of the 2024 edition of the Rok Superfinal at South Garda Karting in Lonato.
Constant commitment and steady growth over the course of the season are taking Remek higher and higher in the Junior category. Together with the Lenartowicz KLM team, the Polish driver was able to fight in the top positions throughout the wonderful weekend at the Vortex International Event.
Wet conditions prevailed, where Remigiusz was at ease right from free practice and then qualifying, where he managed to place tenth overall, second in Group D. A position that would have been even better without a driver who spun right on the flying lap.
During the heats, Samczyk found an even pace and above all the lucidity to stay out of dangerous situations, battling of course but still for the top positions. Two third places, two second places and an unfortunate 16th place due to an engine problem at the start that forced him to start last and then recover up to P13 before the front spoiler penalty.
Excellent results that allowed him to close the heats with ninth place in the combined standings and fifth place for Prefinal A. Even then fortune did not smile on Remek who, when he was battling for second position, felt a loss of engine power and had to close the race by limiting the damage in P14.
The Junior Rok Final then closed an absolutely positive weekend in a worthy manner. Start from P13 and great recovery in the race, lap after lap without mistakes in P8 with five positions recovered.
Excellent signs of growth from Remigiusz, among the best young names in the international final. The Polish driver would like to thank his team, his mechanic, all the staff, his family and of course his sponsors for making this possible.
