The first big appointment with the FIA Karting season is about to arrive for Remigiusz Samczyk, who is ready for his debut in Valencia.
After having archived the Andrea Margutti Trophy, the AKM Motorsport team driver is ready for the next challenge. On the circuit of Lonato, Remek also showed great maturity in qualifying, where he put into practice all the improvements of the previous races. A good session put him in fifth position overall in the category, his best result so far.
The heats were not easy, but the Polish driver always did his best to recover positions and be the protagonist of overtaking and battles. Unfortunately, in the pre-final a contact caused by an opponent did not allow the driver to complete his race as well as in the final where an opponent caused a contact on the formation lap preventing him from starting the final. Two unfortunate episodes that do not cancel out the great progression of the weekend.
This weekend, Samczyk will be at Valencia for the first time in the FIA Karting OKJ European Championship. It will be a new chapter that Remek will try to tackle at his best right from Friday’s qualifying. Saturday will be dedicated to heats, Sunday Superheat and the OKJ final. Everything will be streamed from Saturday on the official FIA Karting YouTube channel.
